JOB SHARING
SMHS Team Teaching staff intending to apply for Job Sharing for 2025/26 should do so on or before February 1st 2025 using the form, Appendix A of Circular Letter 0054/2019 Leave Schemes for Registered Teachers Employed in Recognised Primary and Post Primary Schools. A teacher wishing to extend a job-sharing arrangement must also apply, using the form in Appendix A, on an annual basis.
The completed form should then be submitted via the leave submission link on the school Intranet.

CAREER BREAK
Teaching staff intending to apply for Career Break for 2025/26 should submit a written application for a career break, including details of the purpose of the career break, to the Board of Management/Manager by 1st February 2025 on the form in Appendix A page 102 of Circular 0054/2019. A teacher returning from career break is required to inform, in writing, the Board of Management/Manager by 1st February 2025 of his/her intention to return.
The completed form should then be submitted via the leave submission link on the school Intranet.
