What We do:
Support We aim to support and empower Parents and Guardians to be active partners in their daughter’s education and encourage involvement in the Parents Council. Studies have proven that Parent/Guardians’ involvement in their children’s education closely correlates to student success. It is an opportunity to make a valuable contribution to your daughter’s education and feel connected to the school and meet with other parents.
Fundraising & Events We organise fundraising events as requested by the school administration to raise funds for extracurricular activities, special events/projects etc.
Parent Education We believe that informed parents are empowered parents. We work with Parent Councils in other local schools to host workshops and guest speaker events on topics relevant to parenting, education, and student well-being. These sessions provide valuable insights and practical tips for navigating the challenges of raising teenagers.
How YOU Can Get Involved We invite ALL parents to actively participate in the Parents’ Council.
Our AGM is held at the beginning of the school year when a new committee is elected. Don’t let the fear of getting a job put you off attending, only those interested in taking positions are elected. A number of meetings are then held during the year, advertised through the school app/Tyro.
