A Guide to JCPA and OAL
To be read in conjunction with the OAL Microsoft Form.

The JCPA is a new award which replaces the Junior Cycle. It includes a student's results in State Examinations, Classroom Based Assessments and other additional aspects of a students achievements during 1st - 3rd year, called 'Other Areas of Learning'.
The JCPA Guide for parents explains the JCPA and how to help your daughter compile and submit her OALs. Clicking on the link below will open a new page with the OAL submission form. Each student will need the email address given to her by the school in order to complete the form. You will only be able to submit the form once. Therefore it would be prudent to have your OAL submission typed before hand, so that you can copy and paste it into the form.
Remember it must something you did while in school or wearing school uniform.
