The Deputy Designated Liaison Person for St. Mary's High School is the Deputy Principal, Ms. Niamh O'Connor.
In the event of the DLP being away any concerns around child safeguarding should be referred to the DDLP.

Child Safeguarding Review
The Board of Management's annual review of the school's Child Safeguarding Statement and Child Protection Risk Assessment was completed at the Board meeting of August 27th 2024. This review was conducted in accordance with the "Checklist for Review of Child Safeguarding Statement" published on the Department of Education & Skills website www.education.ie.

Child Safeguarding Statement approved and updated by the board of management on 31/01/2023 to reflect Addendum to Children First (2019) which was already comprehended by the Risk Assessment previously conducted as allowed for in section 7 of the document.

The Child Safeguarding Statement and Child Protection Risk Assessment are posted in the reception waiting area. A hard copy of any or all of the above documents is available on receipt of a written request addressed to The Designated Liaison Person, St. Mary's High School, Midleton, Co. Cork.
